Apply for a loan

Applying  

This feature is currently available on the desktop version of IDEAL. You need to use a desktop or laptop computer for this.   

  1. Log into DBS IDEAL.  
     
  2. Go to the menu on the left, then select Apply. 
     
  3. Select Loans.  
     
  4. Select the loan type you want, such as cash loans (including business loan and overdraft) or loans on fixed assets (such as property, equipment, and vehicles). 
     
  5. Select Apply Now. 
     
  6. Complete the application. Some fields will be automatically filled in with your information on the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) website or Myinfo business.
     
  7. Select Submit. 
     

    Once the application has been approved, you will receive a loan offer from DBS.

    You can then review and accept the offer.
     

Track loan application status
  1. Log into DBS IDEAL. 
     
  2. Go to the dashboard, then select the section Application Status to check on your application.

If your loan offer is pending, remind your guarantors to verify their identities, and review or accept it.
