How to submit TravellerShield Plus claim

Submit your claim online via MyAccount
Simply:
Important Note:
  • Your claim must be submitted within 30 days of the event giving rise to your claim.
  • If you need to seek medical treatment in Singapore after returning from your trip, you must do so within 72 hours after your return to Singapore.
Benefit being claimed for Required Documents
  • Travel Delay
  • Flight Overbooking or Travel Misconnection
  • Flight Diversion
  • Notification from the airline or transport carrier confirming reason for the delay or flight diversion
  • Delayed Baggage
  • Airline baggage irregularity report or similar confirming delay
  • Travel itinerary
  • Loss of or Damage to Travel Documents
  • Loss of or Damage to Personal Property and Baggage
  • Any document that demonstrates proof of ownership
  • Any document that adequately supports the amount claimed (receipts or repair quotes)
  • Police report in the event of theft
  • Any correspondence you have received from your card issuer in relation to the fraudulent transactions
  • Journey Cancellation
  • Journey Curtailment
  • Receipts from service providers
  • Refund request with service providers
  • Doctor's memo (if applicable)
  • Any other documentation that supports the unforeseen circumstances that led to the cancellation or curtailment
  • Overseas Medical Expenses
  • Continuation of Medical Treatment after Return to Singapore
  • Accidental Emergency Dental Treatment
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment
  • Medical report; and
  • Proof of cost (e.g. doctor’s invoice/receipt)
  • Overseas Hospital Confinement Benefit
  • Overseas Hospital Confinement Benefit for ICU
  • Hospital Confinement Benefit in Singapore
  • Inpatient discharge summary
  • Medical report; and
  • Hospital bill
  • Accidental Death
  • Copy of death certificate
  • Copy of coroner's dispositions and finding (if applicable)
  • Copy of toxicology report (if applicable)
  • Accidental Permanent Total Disablement
  • Medical practitioner's statement
  • Child Education Grant

  • Letter of Demand of a claim made against you

Chubb’s MyAccount allows you to register and track the progress of your claim, at your convenience.

Simply:
  • With all required documents ready for assessment, you can expect to receive the claims payout for approved claims within 7 working days.
  • Choose to receive your approved claims payout either via FAST or PayNow to ensure you receive your payment promptly.
