Customise your Card Functions with Payment Controls

Payment control allows you to enable the functions that you need and disable what you don't.


Important information

  • Controls are not applicable to NETS and ATM transactions
  • Cash Advance control on your credit card(s) is disabled by default. Simply follow the steps below to switch on your Cash Advance facility.
  • Online transactions are Card-Not-Present payments which are performed via in-app or merchant websites. Depending on system indicator, certain recurring payments or merchant subscriptions may also be considered as online transactions. Learn more on how to identify the payment type for your card transactions.
    Examples include: SP Utilities recurring payments, AIA recurring insurance via In-app, Apple subscription.
  • Any new card replacement will not reset your customised card functions. If required, you may amend the setting once card is activated.
  • You may still be charged for SimplyGo transactions made; transit fares will be forced posted to your accounts even if temporary lock function is enabled.

How to customise your card functions for Debit Card

There are various channels which you may customise your card functions with us. The most convenient method would be via digibank mobile.

Note
  • Once Contactless control is disabled, you will not be able to perform any contactless transaction on physical card and mobile wallet.
  • Once Online control is disabled, you will not be able to perform any ecommerce transaction.
  • Once Overseas controls are disabled, you will not be able to perform any overseas in-store transaction. Learn more on how to enable card for overseas use.

Step 1
Log in to digibank mobile with your Touch / Face ID or digibank User ID & PIN.

Step 2
Tap on More at the bottom, under Manage Cards & Loans, select Payment Controls.

Step 3
Select the Card you wish to customise and swipe left on the toggle switch to disable the control.

Step 4
You have successfully disabled the control you have selected on your Card.

  • Once Contactless control is disabled, you will not be able to perform any contactless transaction on physical card and mobile wallet.
  • Once Online control is disabled, you will not be able to perform any ecommerce transaction.
  • Once Overseas controls are disabled, you will not be able to perform any overseas in-store transaction. Learn more on how to enable card for overseas use.

Log in to digibank online with your User ID & PIN.

Complete the Authentication Process.

Under Cards select Manage Debit or ATM Card (Activate, Limits & More).

Select the Card you wish to customise and toggle Switch Off to disable the function.

Your selected transactions feature will not be allowed on this card.
