Deposit Insurance Scheme
Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors and monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.

What currency is this account in?

You may only transact in Singapore Dollars (SGD) in the Business Digital Account. However, we offer SGD plus up to 12 foreign currencies in the DBS Business Multi-currency Account.

Which transactions are chargeable?

A S$20 transaction fee will apply to over-the-counter transactions including:

  • Cash deposit & withdrawals

  • Cheque encashment

  • Purchase of a cashier’s order

  • Purchase of a demand draft

  • Funds transfers

  • Outward Telegraphic Transfers (hard copy forms)
I can’t find my company on ‘ACRA details’ in the online form. Why?

Try removing ‘Pte. Ltd’ from your company name when entering your details. If your company is newly registered, it will take 2 working days before you can retrieve the details.

I have an SGD Business Account. How do I switch it to a Business Digital Account and keep the same account number?
