Withdrawal Denominations & Options

Popular denominations such as S$2, S$10 and S$50 are available at the pop-up ATMs from 14 to 27 January 2025 (10am to 10pm daily) and 28 January 2025 (10am to 1pm).

Collection of reserved notes starts from 14 to 20 January 2025 (Reservation #1) and 21 to 27 January 2025 (Reservation #2) at your selected DBS Treasures Centre and time slot.

Online Reservation

Each customer is only entitled to ONE reservation slot for notes exchange throughout the Lunar New Year period and no cancellation/amendments are allowed after submission. The exchange limit is set at S$6,900 for new notes and S$35,000 for Fit* notes.

Fit-for-Gifting’ notes (or ‘Fit notes’ in short) are used currency notes that are generally clean and of suitable quality for recirculation, including for festive gifting. They are similar to notes from ATMs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I only limited to 3 withdrawals during the Lunar New Year period?

Each customer can make up to 3 withdrawals to exchange for Lunar New Year new and/or Fit notes from 14 January to 28 January 2025. This gives more customers the opportunity to withdraw new notes for the festive season.

If you have exceeded the maximum number of withdrawals, the ATM screen will display this message: “We are unable to process your request as you have reached the maximum number of times which you can withdraw from our LNY pop-up ATM. Please take your card.”

I have 5 cards under DBS/POSB, am I allowed to make 3 withdrawals for each card?

The limit of 3 withdrawal applies to each individual customer, regardless of the number of accounts and cards they may have. Therefore, if you have 5 cards under DBS/POSB, you will only be allowed to make a maximum of 3 withdrawals.

I have a joint account with someone else, is the limit of 3 withdrawals shared between us?

No, each customer can make up to 3 withdrawals to exchange for Lunar New Year new and/or Fit notes even if they share an account. The limit of 3 withdrawals applies to each registered customer and not the respective accounts/cards.

Am I able to perform other ATM transactions at the pop-up ATM?

As we have customised the pop-up ATM machines to dispense only new notes denominations of S$2, S$10 and S$50. Please use our other ATMs/Branch Teller Machines (BTM) island wide for regular transactions. You may refer to the Branch Locator for the nearest ATM/BTM locations.
