Purchase Cashier’s Order online and have the option to receive it via mailing or self-collect at your selected branch.
Important information
- The Cashier’s Order service fee are as follows:
- S$3 per Cashier’s Order purchased online here.
- S$15 per Cashier’s Order purchased at DBS/POSB branches.
- Funds will be deducted by the next working day. Do ensure that you have sufficient funds in your DBS/POSB debiting account before submitting the application.
- Online purchase is only available to customer with digibank login credentials and a DBS/POSB current/savings account.
- For self-collection, 3rd party authorisation is not allowed. You must bring your NRIC/Passport personally at your selected branch for collection.

How to Purchase Cashier's Order
There are various channels which you may purchase Cashier's Order with us. The easiest method to purchase Cashier’s Order would be via online application.
Online Application

- Login with your digibank User ID and PIN.
- Verify your particulars populated are accurate.
To make changes, learn more about updating your particulars instantly. - Select your debiting account number and purpose of Cashier’s Order.
- Select your mode of collection:
- Mail it to yourself (Receive within 5 working days)

Self-collect on the next working day (Monday – Friday) after 2pm at your selected Full Service DBS/POSB Branch*
- Select your preferred branch for self-collection
- Enter your payee’s name to be printed on cashier’s order
- Enter your Cashier’s Order Amount.
(minimum of S$5, up to S$100,000 per Cashier’s Order) - Review your details and click Submit to confirm your request.
- An acknowledgement email will be sent to your registered email address.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my Cashier’s Order expire and what is the process of getting a refund of an expired cashier’s order?
Yes, Cashier’s Order is valid for 6 months from date of issuance, unless otherwise stated on the Cashier’s Order. You can request for a refund from your expired Cashier’s Order to either your debiting account or another account with DBS/POSB Bank. To obtain a refund, simply visit any DBS/POSB Full-Service branch with your original Cashier’s Order & NRIC or valid passport.
Can I cancel a Cashier's Order? Are there any charges?
Yes. You will need to submit your cancellation request together with the original Cashier's Order at any of our branches. We will credit the funds to your designated account. The cancellation fee is currently waived but we reserve the right to review and revise the cancellation fee from time to time by giving you at least 30 days' prior notice.
What should I do if my cashier’s order is lost/stolen/damaged?
If your Cashier’s Order is lost, stolen, or damaged, you may request for payment on the Cashier's Order to be stopped. You can request for a replacement or opt for a refund at any of our DBS/POSB branches. You will need to complete the Cashier's Order/Demand Draft – Indemnity for Stop Payment form and provide a notarised consent of the Payee in writing. There will be a handling charge of S$15.
I’m unable to collect my Cashier’s Order at my selected branch. Can I change the branch of collection?
No, you will not be able to change the branch that you have chosen for collection. Please review your selection of collection details before proceeding with the purchase.
Self-collecting of Cashier’s Order can only be done after 2pm. If you are unable to collect it within the stipulated date and time, we will hold your Cashier’s Order for 7 days from the day of request before disposing it. If that happens, your funds will be credited back to your account.

I submitted the wrong amount for my Cashier’s Order, how can I make amendments?
No amendments can be made after submission of request, please wait for your Cashier’s Order to be mailed to you/collect it at the branch before requesting for cancellation. For cancellation, please refer to Can I cancel a Cashier's Order? Are there any charges? FAQ.
I have requested ‘Mail to myself’ option but did not receive my Cashier’s Order.
For ‘Mail to myself’ option, your Cashier’s Order will reach you within 5 working days after submission. If you have not received it, please visit any of our branches with your NRIC/passport to request a stop-payment.
Which accounts can I use to purchase Cashier’s Order?
You can use any of your current or savings accounts to purchase a Cashier’s Order. Kindly note that joint-all or trust accounts cannot be utilised for this purpose.
