Thank you for your strong support for our online reservation service! All slots for Reservation #1 (07-12 January 2025) have been fully taken up. Our next reservation service will be available on 13 January 2025.

You can also obtain new and Fit notes from our pop-up ATMs or Fit notes only from our network of 1,200 regular cash machines. You can also consider cashless gifting with DBS QR Gift.

For customers who were unable to secure a slot, you may still obtain new notes via our 57 pop-up ATMs and Fit notes at 15 pop-up ATMs located island-wide starting 14 January, or make withdrawals from our network of 1,200 regular ATM machines, which are available 24/7.

How to reserve your LNY new notes and Fit-for-Gifting notes online

  • Visit our secured online notes reservation portal.
  • Enter your NRIC/Passport Number/Malaysian NRIC, followed by the last 4 digits of your ATM/Debit/Credit Card number.
    Note: Never disclose your digibank User ID, PIN & One-Time Password (OTP) to anyone. DBS will never request for your PIN, password or OTP.
  • Select your preferred branch/centre, date, and time of collection.
  • Indicate the number of notes you require for each denomination and the number of DBS QR Gift Packs if required.
  • Confirm your details and selection. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours after your submission.
  • Collect your reserved notes and DBS QR Gift Packs at the selected branch/centre during the specified date and time.

Frequently Asked Questions

The maximum amount for Lunar New Year new notes exchange is capped at S$800 and S$1,400 for Fit* notes per customer. Learn more about the denominations available.

* Fit-for-Gifting’ notes (or ‘Fit notes’ in short) are used currency notes that are generally clean and of suitable quality for recirculation, including for festive gifting. They are similar to notes from ATMs.
You can only book ONE reservation slot for LNY notes exchange throughout the online reservation period. This is to allow more customers to enjoy the online reservation service.
You will not be able to cancel/amend a reservation made on the portal.
You need to have an ATM/Debit/Credit card that is linked to a Deposit Account before you can log in to place your reservation. Card and NRIC/Passport are required to verify that the individuals logging in are customers of the bank.
Bring along your NRIC/Passport and ATM/Debit Card during collection. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in the preferred account at the point of collection.
Starting 14 January 2025, you can obtain DBS/POSB red packets at DBS/POSB branches or Treasures Centre or pop-up ATMs at 16 Community Clubs. Each customer will be issued 1 red packet pack each and subject to availability.
Please note that we will be deducting the amount from the account of the person who is collecting the LNY notes. Please ensure that the person collecting on your behalf brings along their NRIC/Passport, ATM/Debit Card, has the reservation email confirmation, and that there are sufficient funds for debiting during the collection.
Yes, you can choose to exclude QR Gift Packs (QR Ang Baos) in your quantity selection (0 to 10). However, do consider switching to cashless gifting, and enjoy more convenience and time saved from packing red packets! Did you know, if all DBS customers reduced their cash withdrawals by just 1% each, the carbon dioxide emissions collectively saved is equivalent to having an addition of almost 600 trees!
