Senior customers aged 60 and above (based on year of birth) or customers with disability who are making the withdrawal can be accompanied by 1 other person to minimise overcrowding.

While you cannot exchange for more than the maximum amount of S$800 worth of new notes and S$1,400 worth of Fit* notes, you can consider switching to cashless gifting via the DBS QR Gift Card. Enjoy more convenience and time saved from packing red packets! Did you know, if all DBS customers reduced their cash withdrawals by just 1% each, the carbon dioxide emissions collectively saved is equivalent to having an addition of almost 600 trees!

* Fit-for-Gifting’ notes (or ‘Fit notes’ in short) are used currency notes that are generally clean and of suitable quality for recirculation, including for festive gifting. They are similar to notes from ATMs.

Starting 14 January 2025, you can obtain DBS/POSB red packets at DBS/POSB branches or DBS Treasures Centre or pop-up ATMs at 16 Community Clubs. Subject to availability, each customer will be issued 1 pack of red packet each.

Recycling bins for used red packets and QR gifts are available at all DBS/POSB branches across Singapore, accessible during branch operating hours. You may refer to the list of branches.
