Singapore Residents who are at least 18 years old can apply for MultiGen Protect. The applicant can then protect up to 6 adults and seniors, and 4 children under the MultiGen Protect policy.
However, if the applicant would also like to cover himself under MultiGen Protect, he needs to fulfil the eligibility criteria of either an adult or senior insured person.
Singapore Resident means Singapore citizen, Singapore permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit, employment pass, long-term visit pass, dependant's pass, S Pass or student pass issued by the authorities in Singapore.
We recognise that adults, seniors and children have different protection needs. Therefore, each generation has their own set of benefits and sum insured amounts, tailored to best suit their requirements.
All insured persons must be Singapore Residents, and be either the applicant, applicant’s partner, parent, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandparent-in-law, child or grandchild. Depending on their age, each insured person will be protected under the benefits of the following generation categories:
Generation Category | Eligibility Criteria | Maximum Renewal Age |
---|---|---|
Adult | Aged between 18 years and 50 years old (both ages inclusive) | 70 years old (age inclusive) |
Senior | Aged between 51 years and 70 years old (both ages inclusive) | 80 years old (age inclusive) |
Child | Aged between 1 month and 17 years old (both ages inclusive), unemployed and unmarried | 23 years old (age inclusive) |
Your policy will be automatically renewed:
Chubb will email the policyholder when the insured person has reached the maximum age, and his coverage will cease.
If there are other insured persons under the policy, their cover will continue for the remaining period of insurance.
