Effective 5th November 2018, the Malayan Banking Berhad, Singapore Branch (the “Branch”) is transferring part of its banking business in Singapore to Maybank Singapore Limited (“the Subsidiary”), Malayan Banking Berhad's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary incorporated in Singapore.

Following the local incorporation, the Branch and the Subsidiary will each operate under a different distinct reference name. New bank details of the Subsidiary and the Branch are set out in the table below:

As part of this change, your local funds transfer arrangements to MayBank from DBS/POSB will have to be amended with the new bank details so that future transfers can continue to be successful.

Automatic migration of Maybank local funds transfer beneficiaries:

We will map your existing Maybank Singapore beneficiaries (if any) in DBS/POSB digibank to the appropriate account category below. No action is required on your part. After 5th November 2018, if payments to any of your existing Maybank Singapore beneficiaries are unsuccessful, please delete the unsuccessful beneficiary details and add them as a new beneficiary.

2. For FAST transfers to a Maybank Retail, Private Wealth, RSME, CMG account: Please select "Maybank Singapore Limited"

Maybank Singapore System Unavailability:

From 4:00pm on 2 November 2018 to 8:00am on 5 November 2018, FAST and PayNow services to Maybank Singapore via DBS iBanking will not yet be available. During this period, please avoid effecting fund transfers and/or beneficiary additions to Maybank Singapore via DBS iBanking.
