DBS Singapore Slammers, 2 - 4 December

DBS presents "DBS Singapore Slammers", an all-star tennis line-up including World No. 1 Serena Williams and eight-time Grand Slam champion, Andre Agassi in a ground-breaking tennis competition.

The DBS Singapore Slammers introduces tennis in a refreshing new team format that combines world-class tennis, fun and entertainment. Spectators get to watch 24 world-class tennis players compete over three days, with two 3-hour competition segments each day starting at 4pm and 7.30pm respectively. The winning team receives a grand prize of US$1,000,000.

Child Development Account

DBS/POSB was recently appointed as a managing agent for the Child Development Account (CDA). Over the years, the bank has introduced and supported many initiatives focused on children and many of these children are now parents. As we cater to their changing banking needs, we are also here to help them invest in their children's future. In October, we offered parents an additional 1% p.a. interest rate for six months on every CDA registered with the bank during the month. The bonus interest, which is on top of the base interest, will be credited once the CDA is opened with the bank by the second quarter of 2015. Over the next few months, parents can look forward to a series of exclusive promotions that will benefit them and their children. Parents will be able to enjoy the convenience of managing their children's CDAs through internet banking. In addition to having convenient access to the account, parents will also receive a POSB Baby Bonus Card, which comes with a slew of benefits.

POSB Cash-Point

Recently, DBS also extended its network of POSB Cash-Point, providing customers with more convenience to make cash withdrawals at all Guardian Health & Beauty and Sheng Siong stores in Singapore. Other POSB Cash-Point include 7-Eleven stores and SingPost outlets. With this expansion, DBS/POSB has now effectively increased its withdrawal touchpoints to close to 2,000 islandwide which is the most extensive in Singapore.
