Instructions on Regular Savings Plan
- To create a GIRO arrangement for the purpose of debiting the specified amount from your selected account.
- To debit the specified amount from your selected account with us on a monthly basis for the purpose of investing in the relevant Fund.
- We shall activate your Regular Savings Plan in the relevant Fund based on the following timelines:
- If your application is submitted before 3.00 pm on a business day - before midnight on the same business day
- If your application is submitted after 3.00 pm on a business day or at any time on a non-business day - before midnight on the next business day (Business day excludes Sat, Sun and any public holiday)
- Notwithstanding the activation of your Regular Savings Plan, your monthly investments under the Regular Savings Plan will only be made on a specified debit date each month (as we may determine or vary from time to time at our absolute discretion). If the specified debit date should fall on a Sat, Sun or public holiday, the investment will be effected on the next business day. Your first monthly investment will therefore be made on the next specified debit date after the activation of your Regular Savings Plan.
- Investments in the Fund will be effected at the confirmed prices of the business day following the day that the Fund Manager is in receipt of readily available funds (or such other date as may be determined by the Fund Manager and/or us from time to time).
- Details relating to your monthly investments (such as the number of units issued and the prices in which the units are issued) will be reflected in the monthly statements sent to you.
- You may vary or terminate your debit authorisation in respect of the monthly investments by submitting to us an online instruction at this website or a written notice or the duly completed forms which may be obtained from any DBS Bank branch.
- We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw, terminate or vary the Regular Savings Plan service at any time at our discretion and to vary or otherwise amend, at any time in our absolute discretion, the terms and conditions herein without prior notice to you.
- Any discounts or promotional rates offered by us in respect of any fund may be withdrawn, terminated or varied by us from time to time at our absolute discretion without notice to you.
- In the event of an unsuccessful debit from your account for the Regular Savings Plan for any reason (such as insufficient available funds in your account), no investment will be made for that month. After two (2) consecutive unsuccessful debits, the Regular Savings Plan will be terminated and a notification will be sent to you at your address on our records.
