Update IDEAL user’s services, roles and contact information

If your business has Customer Self Administrator (CSA) access

This means your business has an IDEAL user with the permissions of an administrator. To update a user’s services and roles, an administrator needs to submit a request and another administrator needs to approve this action. An administrator can do this using the following steps. Please do it on a desktop computer as the CSA feature is currently available on the IDEAL desktop version.

The mobile phone number is for receiving OTPs (One-Time Passwords) and text messages (SMS) about your transactions.
- Log in to DBS IDEAL.
- Go to the top right-hand corner and select the icon Profile.
- Go to the section Contact, then select Update next to your mobile number.
- Enter your new mobile number and select Verify.
- An SMS OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the new mobile number. Enter it on-screen.
- A Challenge Code will be shown on-screen. Enter it into your digital token or physical token, and a Response Code will be created. Enter this on-screen.
- Your mobile number should be updated. Once done, you will receive a text message (SMS) and an email confirming this.
The email is for receiving emails about your transactions and other communications from us.
- Log in to DBS IDEAL.
- Go to the top right-hand corner and select the icon Profile.
- Go to the section Contact, then select Update next to your email address.
- Enter your new email address and select Verify.
- An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the new email address. Enter it on-screen.
- A Challenge Code will be shown on-screen. Enter it into your digital token or physical token, and a Response Code will be created. Enter this on-screen.
- Your email address should be updated. Once done, you will receive a text message (SMS) and an email confirming this.
